Open Inventor 8.5 is an object-oriented, cross-platform 3-D graphics toolkit for the development of interactive applications using C++, .NET or Java. The platform is designed for Windows 32-/64-bit and Linux RHEL 32-/64-bit and to support the development environment’s specific needs. Based on OpenGL, it provides the same power and functionality at an object-oriented level. A large set of advanced components provides developers with a high-level platform for rapid prototyping and development of 3-D graphics applications.
