Solution-processed Perovskite Crystalline Films (SPeC)
Category: Process/Prototyping
Developers: Los Alamos National Laboratory
Co-Developers: N/A
United States
Product Description:SPeC is a perovskite thin-film fabrication method used to produce uniform crystalline semiconductors from earth-abundant materials for high-performance optoelectronics. The solution-based methodology is very inexpensive, fully scalable, and suitable for existing mass-manufacturing techniques. SPeC has been demonstrated to produce low-cost, high-performance solar cells, x-ray detectors, and color-tunable LEDs.
