State regulators are recalling raw milk and raw cream produced by Fresno County-based Organic Pastures Dairy after salmonella was detected in one of the products.
California Department of Food and Agriculture said Monday the order comes after salmonella bacteria was detected in raw cream. No illnesses have been reported.
The recall includes raw milk, raw skim milk and cream produced by Organic Pastures Dairy with a sell by date of May 18.
The department says the dairy products should be pulled immediately from retail shelves and it urges consumers to dispose of any product remaining in their refrigerators.
CDFA says inspectors found the bacteria in a routine sample collection at the facility.
Salmonella symptoms include diarrhea, vomiting, fever and abdominal cramps.
