Falcon Electric, Inc. has announced its new solid-state voltage regulator (SVR). The SVR Pro Series is an active electronics-based solid-state voltage regulator line. In addition to regenerating new, clean AC power, the SVR Pro protects power sensitive equipment against wide spectrum of power-related problems.
Designed to eliminate costly power disturbances that wreak havoc with sensitive laboratory instrumentation, testing results and process flow, the SVR Pro 1.5 kVA, 2.2 kVA, and 3 kVA units deliver pure regulated power in a compact and lightweight 31-pound package. The SVR Pro has an active electronic design that regenerates ultra-clean, regulated power, assuring high levels of protection against problematic generator frequency shifts, surges, sags, and extended brownouts. This constant, clean power ensures accurate test samples, maximizes equipment runtime and prevents costly re-testing.
The SVR removes damaging power pollution and assures a pure sinewave output with ±2% voltage regulation. This voltage regulator features a wide input voltage window from 80 to 138 Vac. For a high level of control, the SVR Pro incorporates advanced microprocessor technology. The units’ LCD display provides lab managers with instantaneous line, load status and operating parameters
