My first time going into a cleanroom, I didn’t think ahead about how I would get my long hair tucked into the bouffant cap. I wished I had had a ponytail band to help keep my hair contained.
Ask your employees what they wish they would have known their first time going into the cleanroom and add useful tips to the gowning procedure.
Give a copy of your gowning procedure to new employees and visitors in advance. This way they know what to expect and how they should dress and wear their hair before they arrive at your facility. This will help make their first time gowning up go more smoothly.
Also, keep some ponytail bands in the gowning room just in case someone needs to do some last-minute hair wrangling!
