Somerset, NJ — LABVANTAGE Solutions, a provider of laboratory information solutions, has welcomed Peter Bailey as the new Chief Executive Officer. Having served at GE, GE Healthcare and McKinsey, Bailey brings a background in global business leadership, innovation, business building, and corporate strategy. Bailey reports to the LABVANTAGE Board of Directors, chaired by Purnendu Chatterjee, founder and chairman of The Chatterjee Group, a private investment firm focusing on global infrastructure, life sciences, communications and information technology companies.

In addition to his work leading the Services business at GE Life Sciences, Bailey served as Vice President and General Manager of the Clinical Data Services business at GE Healthcare. Prior to that, Bailey was CIO and General Manager, Global Lean Six Sigma, for GE Water & Process Technologies and consulted on strategic and organizational issues for a range of clients while at the Washington, DC, and Amsterdam offices of McKinsey & Company.
Peter received a BS from Lehigh University and an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. His MA is from the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) where he focused on Asian Studies and Japanese language.
