CLEVELAND, October 29, 2019 — Winners of the R&D 100 Awards have been announced by R&D World magazine and its new parent company, WTWH Media, LLC.
“This awards program is so well recognized across the R&D community. Being named as one of the R&D 100 is an incredible honor,” said Paul J. Heney, Vice President, Editorial Director for R&D World. “These 100 winning products and technologies are the disruptors that will change industries and make the world a better place in the coming years.”
The winners are listed below by category, and then alphabetically by submission name. Under the product name, the primary submitting organization is listed, followed by the names of co-developing organizations, if applicable.
Primary organizations that took three or more R&D 100 Awards are: Argonne National Laboratory, Dow Chemical, Idaho National Laboratory, Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, Los Alamos National Laboratory, MIT Lincoln Laboratory, NETL, Oak Ridge National Laboratory, and Sandia National Laboratories.
Additionally, judges awarded several submissions in the four Special Recognition categories, potentially giving a Gold, Silver and Bronze in each. Those are listed below the R&D 100 winners. Congratulations to all!
The R&D 100 Awards Banquet will take place on Thursday, December 5th at the San Mateo Marriott near San Francisco, California — in conjunction with the R&D 100 Conference. For more information, please visit www.rd100conference.com and register today.

Ric Merrifield says
This is great. We are making improvements on the NASA TASAR solution and wonder what it will take to be considered for the 2020 innovation awards. Is that something we need to get nominated for or do we apply? If the latter, when does the application process begin?
