The Tracxer Coder Reader Black Edition from Micronic is intended for reading racks filled with 2D Data-Matrix or TraXis coded tubes within 15 seconds. The Tracxer Code Reader software is easy to install and gives reliable readings of the 2D codes. A text file (CSV) is automatically generated containing a list with the tube codes. Due to the inclusion of an ActiveX toolkit, the text file can be interfaced with several types of databases, as well as Excel spreadsheets.
The software includes a feature that when decoding a rack with 2D coded tubes a distinction can be made between those 2D codes that are not recognised and those tubes that are not in place. This can be crucial for determining whether any samples are missing. This feature can be vital for a reliable sample logistic system.
