Eastman Chemical Co. of Kingsport, Tenn., has announced the acquisition of a Brazilian company.
Eastman said Thursday it has purchased Scandiflex do Brasil S.A. Industrias Quimicas of Maua, Sao Paulo, which makes plasticizers. Terms were not disclosed.
Eastman said the acquisition will help its business in Latin America.
Eastman has approximately 10,000 employees around the world.
