CEQ 8000 Software 6.0 provides DNA sequence data analysis functions that automatically identify and trim off vector material, foreign sequences and poor quality bases. The quality values function helps researchers identify and isolate the highest quality portions of reads, to improve the accuracy and completeness of sequence assembly. This latest version of the program allows users to set their own quality criteria and automatically applies those quality values in the trimming off of undesirable data. It is ideal for genome sequencing assembly, polymorphism studies, expressed sequence tag (EST) analysis, and phylogenetic analysis.
