Precision Tool & Die LLC, a medical device contract manufacturer, has completed construction of an ISO Class 8 hardwall cleanroom in its 35,000 ft2 facility in Derry, N.H.
Filter Sales & Service Inc. of Burlington, Mass., and J. Lawrence Hall Co. Inc. of Nashua, N.H., built and outfitted the new 2,600 ft2 cleanroom. Construction started in April, and Precision completed the certification and validation processes in September. Precision is registered under ISO 9001:2008.
Precision operates six presses in the Class 8 cleanroom and handles assembly and packaging of medical devices for cardiac care, gastroenterology, infusion therapy, oncology, and vascular surgery applications in the Class 7 rooms. Another seven presses operate elsewhere in the plant.
