To the outsider, semiconductor cleanrooms are surreal; with their elaborate gowning, super-clean demands, and high-tech mission, they seem like futuristic movie sets. But industry insiders know better; cleanrooms are very real places with challenges to be met and overcome if they are to accomplish their missions.
