“As a global economic leader and technology hub, Chicago is an important growth market for Stroz Friedberg as corporations evolve their businesses in an ever-changing digital world,” said Eric Friedberg, Co-President of Stroz Friedberg. “David and Joseph’s leadership and experience working with the local business and law enforcement communities will bring efficiencies to the market for Stroz Friedberg and provide an entry point to educate corporate boards about the realities and complexities of conducting business in today’s digital environment.”

Prior to his role as Chief of the Criminal Division, Mr. Glockner served as lead prosecutor for a wide range of investigations and prosecutions, including significant financial institution fraud, securities fraud, public corruption, labor racketeering and narcotics trafficking cases. He has been a leader in the USAO’s computer and intellectual property crime program since early 1990s, training prosecutors and agents on computer and intellectual property crime matters and served as co-chair of NDIL district court’s criminal e-discovery committee. Mr. Glockner received his J.D. degree from Stanford University Law School, and his A.B. degree from the University of Chicago.

At Baxter International, Mr. Alesia managed the company’s global internal investigations program to insure compliance with healthcare fraud and abuse laws as well as the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act. For more than seven years, Mr. Alesia was with the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Northern District of Illinois, holding positions of increasing authority culminating with his appointment as Deputy Supervisor — Narcotics & Gangs Section in 2007.
