It provides the functionality required to assign the tests and apply the limits needed to determine the grade of any manufactured batch. It is essential to be able to grade an individual batch according to the actual specification to determine which orders it can fulfill, since there is often some variation between product batches and individual customers are likely to have specific requirements. The module allows the user to define which tests are performed on the samples and their specific limits for multiple specifications. The results can be either descriptive (e.g. pass/fail) or numeric. In the case of numeric results they can be a single value, greater or less than a specific value, or within a range of values.
